Euro tour 2015 ( with a little bit of international rules thrown in for good measure!)

imageThis years European holiday took us a little by surprise, an unexpected chance to visit some of our favourite cities in the winter time!  To set the scene Isaac along with his good buddy James were presented with the opportunity to travel to Ireland to play some international and Gaelic footy and with very keen dads happy to finance the trip, it was a no brainer – hell yes !

With one evening training session behind them (the boys that is ) the five of us boarded a Murray’s bus to Sydney to connect with the rest of the group at the international airport. Geared up in Wanderers gear (leaving Nick and Robyn at our respective homes to keep the home fires burning) we embark on a trip to foreign lands to  watch our kids play a game that I hope to one day understand, and most importantly see some awesome Christmas lights !

A fun trip through customs and immigration, nothing like a full body scan followed be a quick frisking to remind you are in Australia, and then of course the mandatory explosives detection test – yep I got the trifecta …..

Lots of fellow Wanderers are floating around the international terminal, we are that awkward nod and smile but not much else stage…I am sure that will change really soon. First stop  Singapore and then London here we come!
