A beautiful sunrise greeted us this morning over the Sahara Desert.

It is as gorgeous in the morning as it is in the evening, and here is a morning view of this beautiful campsite.

I must say that I am really conflicted about leaving our desert camp but know that we have many more wonderful places yet to experience on this trip including another couple of days here in Morocco. I really do hope in my heart of hearts that one day I can come back to Sahara Desert again, fingers and toes crossed.
Waiting for us is Youssef, ready for the next part of our Moroccan adventure. Our experience of engaging with a local company who is there to help smooth all of the edges and provide you with recommendations or just look after you has been exceptional. Yesterday Dave mentioned that he loved dates and so Youssef took us all to the best place to get dates and then last night he sent me a quick message to make sure that we were all okay at our desert camp. He has certainly gone above and beyond in ensuring that we felt well looked after and safe here in Morocco.

The one who travels without meeting the other is not travelling just moving.

Today there was again quite a bit of driving and a few fab stops. We have had so many beautiful meals along the way and are so very grateful to have the opportunity to stop at some fantastic landmarks so that we continue to walk and walk and walk off the food 😃, and enjoy that feeling of peace that you get in Morocco.

Tonight we are staying at the relatively new Yu Palace Hotel and Kasbah when you arrive at the hotel you are very surprised as it is in a somewhat undeveloped area of Tarmigt. It is truly beautiful with 12 suites each with a different theme, we stayed in the Olympus room.

Another gorgeous meal and tomorrow we head back to Marrakech to the beautiful Riad Andallaspa for our final 24 hours in Morocco.
